Twenty eight years ago, in May of 1991, we were fortunate to purchase a home with a garden area and 1 full share of irrigation water that came in a stream from the canal. Draper in 1991 had 7,174 residents and was just beginning its transition into the community that we have today. Our two children were thrilled to have a permanent swing set in our large back yard. We moved to Draper with two old cars, 2 small children and our hopes and our dreams. We purchased the local milk from Fitzgerald’s Dairy and our children sold fruit and drinks from our front yard. The close mountains had incredible mountain biking trails and I even did some hang gliding and paragliding. We love Draper and all of the wonderful people and friends we have met over the years.
